Annual Management Conference ~   Changing Lives By Developing Great Leaders

It is recognized as one of the region’s most outstanding events for business professionals.  Organized for the participants’ personal enlightenment, development, and enjoyment, it features a unique format spotlighting issues and trends that vitally concern the business community.

Traditionally held in the early Fall at the famous Sun Valley resort, this three-day event (the one-day pre-conference and two-day conference) represents a balance of formal learning sessions blended with social activities designed to enhance the total experience for attendees and their registered guests.  In addition to the opportunity to meet and talk with prominent authorities in business and the professions, the conference allows participants to analyze and review key human resources topics and the complex world of benefits for self-insured agencies.  Most importantly, this gathering provides an open climate of communication where attendees forge relationships and exchange ideas and solutions.

Teambuilding

In this interactive exercise, participants will attempt to create an economically and culturally viable village. Participants will battle nature, struggle with intra-village conflict, and face ethical dilemmas in their drive for success.

The exercise simulates the real-life challenges that organizations face every day. This exercise emphasizes teamwork and communication and illustrates the damaging consequences that occur when teams break down.

This game was developed by AmeriBen/IEC Group in response to repeated requests from our clients to provide an interactive and experiential learning tool for developing cohesive teams.

Designed for use in groups as small as six or as large as 150, this game can be tailored to suit a variety of settings, industries and time frames. Please contact your AmeriBen/IEC Group consultant for more information or to schedule this interactive training for your organization.

Participants will learn to:

    * Identify the attributes of highly successful teams
    * Develop a better understanding of why teams break down
    * Understand the importance of team loyalty
    * Examine effective team communication techniques
    * Develop conflict resolution and negotiation skills

The most important part of any experiential learning activity is the transfer to the workplace. An  AmeriBen/IEC Group consultant will facilitate the group process in relating the game to the organization’s actual work environment. The final step of the debriefing is the sharing of what participant learned and the development of individuals and team/department action plans.
"I want to thank you for the excellent in-house training you conducted for our organization. Our attending managers were particularly complimentary on the course content, the fast moving pace, and the poignant and realistic examples you used to illustrate teaching points. I believe you bring special skills in establishing rapport that quickly earns confidence and candor from line managers. I am pleased that our long-delayed restart of management training was entrusted in your capable hands."
