Melody K. Evans, CRSP
Retirement Benefits Supervisor

Melody Evans is the Supervisor for the Retirement Benefits Department at AmeriBen Solutions where she oversees the operations for over 150 retirement plans. She is a Certified Retirement Services Professional, a designation earned from the Institute of Certified Bankers. Melody joined AmeriBen Solutions in December of 1996, and has over 14 years of pension experience. She is also a member of the Idaho Chapter of the National Institute of Pension Administrators and currently is Vice President of the chapter. Melody is a graduate of the National Graduate Employee Benefit Trust School of the American Bankers Association, held at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois.

Prior to joining AmeriBen Solutions, Melody was an Employee Benefits Trust Officer at First Security Bank and a partner in an insurance agency.

 

 
Ruth E. Volkert, APA
Retirement Benefits Analyst

As a Retirement Benefits Analyst, Ruth is responsible for a caseload of over 50 retirement plans which use the third-party administrative services of AmeriBen/IEC Group. Her responsibilities include consulting, plan asset reconciliation, nondiscrimination testing, IRS 5500 Form preparation, and other duties associated with retirement plan administration. Ruth is an Accredited Pension Administrator, a member of the National Institute of Pension Administrators (NIPA) as well as a member of the Idaho Chapter of NIPA and has over 12 years of retirement administration experience.

Prior to joining AmeriBen/IEC group in 1991, Ruth worked for the accounting firms of Christensen, Jackson, Miller & Company in Caldwell, Idaho, and Ripley, Doorn & Company in Nampa, Idaho.

 

 

Stacey Anderson
Retirement Benefits Analyst

Stacey Anderson is a Retirement Benefits Analyst for AmeriBen/IEC Group and joined the company four years ago. She has worked in the retirement benefits field for 16 years. She currently administers an account load of primarily 401(k) plans with various investment vendors and brokerage firms. Stacey’s experience and education allows AmeriBen/IEC Group to continue its growth and success with employer-sponsored retirement benefit plans. Prior to joining AmeriBen/IEC Group, Stacey worked as an in-house retirement benefits specialist for a fortune 500 company and as a third party administrator for a National Bank as well as California based administration firms. She is currently studying towards obtaining her QKA (Qualified 401(k) Administrator) and QPA (Qualified Pension Administrator) professional designation through ASPA (American Society of Pension Actuaries), which will allow her to continue to enhance her expertise in the retirement benefits industry.
