Jim Negomir Technology Service Center (TSC) Supervisor   As the Technology Service Center (TSC) Supervisor for AmeriBen, Jim focuses on leveraging technology resources to create accurate and efficient business systems. Jim has been working with technology in the TPA industry since 2000.  Prior to coming to AmeriBen, Jim was Director of IT at a datacenter in Colorado that serviced several healthcare business units.  These services included hosting multiple web sites, claims and eligibility systems, utilization management, e-mail servers and other technology solutions.  During this time, Jim also helped develop a state of the art client reporting system that allowed clients to run reports with custom parameters through their Internet browser.  Prior to his work in the TPA industry, Jim worked as an application developer in the Telecom Industry where he worked on real time order processing systems.   Jim received his degree in Computer Information Systems in 1999.
Barbara C. McAlister System/Stop loss/Subrogation Manager Barbara has been employed with AmeriBen Solutions since April 1981, during this time she has been instrumental in converting from a manual claims processing system to two automated claims processing systems without any disruption of business. Barbara works with clients/brokers/agents and the AmeriBen Marketing Team in implementing new groups into the claims processing system and offering suggestions to plan changes. As Manager of the Stop Loss and Subrogation Department she has a well-trained staff that follow the guidelines of the Stop Loss Carriers as it relates to their specifications for Stop Loss Filings and notifications of trigger diagnosis and 50% notification of each Specific Deductible. In 1985 she received certification from the Self Funding Academy. To stay up to date on what is going on in the industry, she attends the SPBA and SIIA Conferences, plus the User Conference for the claims processing system. She is a native of Oklahoma, has served as Vice President of the American Business Women’s Association and donated her time to serve as Secretary of the Bishop Kelly Scholarship Fund Raisers and political campaigns.
