Teressa Broderick

As
Supervisor of the Account & Business Development Team
for
AmeriBen/IEC Group, Teressa is involved in providing strategic
direction for the organization and is responsible for maintaining
long-term relationships with our self-funded clients as well as our
carrier partners. She is responsible for the Client Service
Coordinator team as well as advising plan sponsors and consultants on
plan design, cost savings, benefit administration issues, industry
regulations and the implementation of new products and services.
In
addition to working with our self-funded clients, Teressa has worked
very closely with our fully-insured university student health plan
business. She has managed multiple carrier relationships,
consulted with brokers specializing in student business, and
developed relationships with the universities’
representatives.
Teressa
has over nine years of experience in the health insurance industry in
both the self-funded and fully-insured arenas. She earned her
Bachelor of Science degree from Boise State University and holds her
Health, Disability and Life licensure in Idaho, Utah and Oregon. |

Linda Elam

Linda
is a Human Resources Benefits Specialist / Account Representative for
AmeriBen/IEC Group. She has been with the organization for
twelve
years. Prior to this specialized position, Linda
designed
and developed the initial internal claims audit program used here at
AmeriBen/IEC Group.
Linda has been in the self-funded insurance
industry since 1987. Her extensive background
includes
claims processing, customer service, programming, vendor negotiation
and sales from Colorado to New Jersey and now to Idaho.
Linda
holds a Bachelor of Communications from the University of Colorado,
Boulder. She has also taught for the Chicago Board of
Education
at the elementary school level.
Linda is a dedicated skier and parent of two. She is active
in Toastmasters, Little League and Capital Youth Soccer. |

Leslie Emery

Leslie
is an Account Representative within the Student Business
Unit with
AmeriBen/IEC Group. She is currently responsible for
maintaining
long-term relationships with the client and broker partners within our
fully-insured university student health plans.
Leslie has over
25 years experience in the health insurance industry, varying from all
different aspects of a 3rd party administrator. She has held Management
roles in Claims, Customer Service and Support Services. She
also
has 15 years of claims adjudication experience.
Her
knowledge and expertise has proven to be an added value in building
strong business relationships based on confidence and trust with
clients, brokers, and fully insured carriers. Leslie also
serves
as a resource for clients, brokers and carriers assisting them with
issue resolutions and workflow improvements. |

Liz Feezor

Liz
Feezor is a Client Service Coordinator (CSC) for AmeriBen/IEC
Group. She has been with AmeriBen/IEC Group since April of
2006. As a CSC, Liz is the first line of response for any
questions or concerns that the client may have, and also assists the
Account Representatives on client projects and requests. Liz
speaks fluent Spanish and has several years of experience in bilingual
customer service and document translation.
Liz holds a Bachelor
of Arts degree from the University of Oregon. She is
currently
pursing a Masters of Health Sciences degree with an emphasis in Health
Services Leadership at Boise State University. |

Robyn Fulfer

Robyn
currently holds the position of Client Service Coordinator for
AmeriBen/IEC Group. She has over twelve years experience in
the
health insurance and third party administration. Robyn’s
experience ranges from customer care, claims processing, network
provider disputes and customer operations.
Robyn is a married
mother of two. In her spare time she is an avid snowmobiler
and
loves winter. During the summer months she enjoys boating,
fishing and motorcycle riding. Robyn also volunteers with Big
Brothers Big Sisters. |

Patty Gillin

Patty
is a Client Service Coordinator (CSC) for the AmeriBen / IEC
Group. As a CSC, Patty is the dedicated contact for any
questions
and concerns that clients have and acts as a “911” contact for urgent
issues. In her role as CSC, Patty assists the client’s
Account
Representative with client specific projects and research.
Together, the CSC and the Account Representative form a cohesive team
to ensure an accurate and timely response to a client’s concerns.
Patty
began her career at AmeriBen / IEC Group in March 2004. Patty
joined the AmeriBen / IEC Group after completing a Bachelor of Science
degree in History/Political Science and Lewis-Clark State College in
Idaho. While working on her degree she held the position of
Staff
Assistant to the Senate Special Committee on Aging in Washington,
D.C. Her time in this role allowed her to gain valuable
insight
on the politics of healthcare. |

Melanie Greene

Melanie
currently holds the position of Sr. Account Representative at
AmeriBen/IEC Group. Over the past eighteen years working in the
healthcare insurance industry, Melanie has touched the lives of many
with her personal service touch. Her knowledge and
experience include claims operations, appeals, networking,
service and sales, account management, and client
presentations.
Melanie
studied at the University of N.C. at Charlotte and obtained her
bachelor's degree in biology, with a minor in psychology. Currently she
holds her healthcare sales license in Colorado. Also, Melanie
participates in Toastmasters International and holds the title of V.P.
of Education and has achieved Competent Communicator and Competent
Leader at her local club. She is also a member of NAHU. Her future
goals include working on her C.E.B.S. designation.
Melanie is
married and a mother of two. In her spare time, she enjoys walking,
bike riding and participating in her children's activities as
well
as volunteering for charities. |

Debbie Hainke

Debbie
is an Account Representative with AmeriBen/IEC
Group. She
came to AmeriBen with over 11 years of experience in the health
insurance industry and has been employed here since June of
2000.
She has a very "well rounded" history including experience in customer
service, eligibility, risk management, client
services and
account management. She has successfully completed courses in
Medical Terminology, Business Grammar and Usage and Essentials
of
Management. Debbie has worked with employers, brokers,
insurance
carriers, TPA's and plan participants. She has a proven track
record of building strong business relationships based on confidence
and trust.
She has attended Boise State
University and is currently working on
obtaining her Health, Life and Disability license in
the
state of Idaho. She is dedicated to providing the highest
level
of quality service to her clients.
Debbie is
a founding member of the Pulse, an internal team which develops
leadership while monitoring and actively addressing employee
morale. She is a charter member of Toastmasters International
club, Communicreators. Debbie has worked closely with Walk
America groups in the past and currently organizes and leads the
AmeriBen/IEC Group each year in the Race for the Cure fund
raiser
for breast cancer research. |

Carrie Hatch

Carrie
joined AmeriBen/IEC Group in July of 2004 as an accountant in Client
Accounting where she worked closely with our client community to
understand self funding financial transactions. As a result
of
her attention to detail and ability to understand the complexities of
the TPA business she was promoted into the Technology Services Center
as an Analyst where she was responsible for monitoring inbound and
outbound data transactions for the organization. This
experience
led her to the eventual promotion to the EDI Services
Coordinator. Carrie then transitioned into the Operations
Department as the Support Services Supervisor responsible for EDI and
Support Services. Carrie was promoted again in November of
2007
to the Manager of Plan Performance and is now responsible for several
departments including Support Services, Provider Relations and Customer
Care.
Carrie holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and
she is a Certified Medical Assistant. Her internal
advancement
and contributions to the organization truly embody and reflect our Core
Purpose as it pertains to developing great leaders. |

Janel Herrmann

Janel
Herrmann is a Benefits Specialist for AmeriBen/IEC Group. She
has
been with AmeriBen/ IEC group since March of 2005. She is
responsible for benefit plan management for a self-funded
Client.
Prior to this specialized position she held the position of Client
Service Coordinator.
Janel has been in the health industry since
1996. She has seven years experience in both the self-funded
and
fully-insured insurance arenas.
Her background
includes insurance billing, coding, customer service and medical
assistance in Washington and Idaho.
Janel received her
Bachelor’s, Magna Cum Laude, in Applied Science as well as a
certificate in Legal Office Technology from
Lewis-Clark State
College in Lewiston, Idaho. Janel holds her Life and
Disability
Insurance Agent License in the State of Idaho. |

Roxanne Joyner

Roxanne
is an Account Representative within the Student Business
Unit with
AmeriBen/IEC Group. She is currently responsible for
maintaining
long-term relationships with the client and broker partners within our
fully-insured university student health plans.
Roxanne came to
AmeriBen with over 20 years of experience in the dental and health
insurance industry. This experience includes a very diverse
history as Operations Manager, HR Manager, Professional
Relations and Account Management and has provided her with a
proven track record of building strong business relationships based on
confidence and trust with employers, brokers, insurance carriers, and
other TPA's.
Roxanne attended Boise State
University. She has also successfully obtained and sustained
her
Health, Life and Disability license in the state of Idaho from 1996-
2000 and is working towards
having her Health, Life and
Disability license re-instated.
Roxanne is a
dedicated professional who prides herself in providing the highest
level of quality service to her clients. |

Tony Kahmann

Kahmann joined AmeriBen/IEC Group in July 2005, with over 25 years of
experience in sales and marketing of group health insurance
plans. His responsibilities include marketing, sales and

management of self-funded health plans. His experience
includes:

broker/consultant roles for carriers and third-party administrators
- Practical knowledge and experience in Underwriting,
Risk, and Product Development
- Consumer Driven Health Care plan development,
marketing and sales
Tony
attended Pierce College, in Woodland Hills, CA, majoring in Business
Administration. He and his wife, Karen, have been married for
38
years, and are the parents of two children. |

Sheryl Lapp

Sheryl
Lapp is an Account Representative for AmeriBen/IEC Group. She
works directly with self funded clients and their brokers recommending
benefit plan design, evaluating utilization, implementing
cost-containment measures, keeping clients informed of new benefit
laws, and building client relationships.
In addition to working
with self funded clients, Sheryl has also been involved with vendor and
provider relations, and maintaining those relationships.
Sheryl
has been with AmeriBen/IEC Group for seven years. The first
few
years at AmeriBen/IEC Group were spent as a Client Service Coordinator
which built the foundation for becoming an Account Representative.
Gaining the knowledge of the claims systems and its operations has
given her the unique opportunity to become very well-rounded and versed
in all areas of her position.
Before coming to AmeriBen/IEC
Group, Sheryl spent over 15 years in the medical practice arena, with
five of those working in a supervisory position. Working on
the
provider side with patients, physicians and staff have given her a
complete understanding of the medical practice world. Working
in
the insurance arena has gone hand-in-hand with the medical practice
experience to create a global picture of understanding.
Sheryl
attended Highline College in Washington and is working on obtaining her
Health, Life and Disability license for the state of Idaho. Sheryl is
very dedicated to providing the best in quality, service and knowledge
to her client base. |

Caroll Mackay

Caroll
has over 28 years of experience in the third party claims and fully
insured health care administration arena. This includes a strong
background in Client Relations, Account & Business Development,
and
Claims Operations. She has been with AmeriBen/IEC Group for just under
nine years and has fulfilled many roles within the organization.
Caroll
attended the University of Utah and Salt Lake Community College with a
course emphasis in English Literature and Business Management. Caroll
has two children and enjoys traveling and spending time with friends
and family.

Michelle Smith

Michelle
Smith is the Team Lead of the Client Service Coordinator (CSC) position
within the Account & Business Development Department with
AmeriBen/IEC Group. She has been with AmeriBen for 9 ½ years,
holding positions in the PPO Pricing Department, Claims Processing and
Customer Service. Michelle has 13 ½ years of experience in
the
health insurance industry. She has successfully completed courses in
Medical Terminology and Essentials of Management. Michelle has
held the position of Team Lead since August 2003, providing training
and support to the CSC team. She has experience conducting
employee enrollment meetings, one on one employee meetings and
providing general client services. As the CSC, Michelle is
the
first line of response to her clients and brokers for question or
concerns that may arise; as well as assisting the Account
Representative on global client issues and projects.
Michelle
is a charter member of Toastmasters International club,
Communicreators, where she has achieved the ‘CC’ recognition of a
‘Competent Communicator’. She has held positions on the Pulse
Team an internal team which develops leadership while
monitoring and actively addressing employee morale; as well
the
Service Excellence Team (SET) Team, an internal team that creates and
exhibits a standard of excellence, develop exceptional leadership
skills, and facilitate profitable client retention.
Michelle is the mother of two girls. She enjoys camping,
gardening and taking her girls drag racing. |

Cathy
Summers is an Account Representative for AmeriBen/IEC Group. She works
directly with self-funded clients and their brokers recommending
benefit plan design, evaluating utilization, implementing

In addition, Cathy works with the sales & marketing staff
handling all of the incoming Requests for Proposals.
Cathy
has been with AmeriBen/IEC Group for over thirteen years. Before
working in the self-funded benefits division, Cathy held roles in
flexible spending account administration and assisting clients in IEC
Group’s Management Consulting department.
Cathy earned a
Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Business Management/Human
Resource Management from Boise State University in 1994, and maintains
a Resident Health, Life, and Disability Insurance Agent License from
the State of Idaho. |

Laurie Tewalt

As an Account Representative with AmeriBen/IEC group, Laurie
is
responsible for maintaining long-term relationships with self-funded
clients and carrier partners. She has been with the
organization
for 4 years. Her current role entails working with clients,
and
brokers in administration of employer group health plans as well as
fully insured Student Business policies. She has over 10 years
of
experience in the health care industry. Her expertise ranges
from
Member Services, Customer Service, Sales and Marketing, Client
Services, and Account Management. Laurie is committed to providing the
highest level of service to her client base.
Laurie earned a
Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Communications from Lewis Clark
State College 2001. In conjunction to her work
history and educational background, she has also successfully
completed
courses in Medical Terminology, Essentials of Management, and is
currently working on obtaining her Health, Life and Disability
Licensure for the State of Idaho.
Laurie is a charter member
of the Toastmasters International Club, The Communicreators.
She
has also actively spent time volunteering for Big Brothers Big Sisters
acting as both a mentor, and offering her talents to assist with
charity fundraisers. Her greatest appreciation in life is
spending time with her husband, family, and close friends. |

Rebecca Tristan

Rebecca
Tristan began her career with AmeriBen/IEC Group in 1998.
Since
that time, Rebecca has successfully held several positions in the
organization including Customer Service Represented, Consulting
Assistant and Client Service Coordinator. Within two years after
joining the organization she was promoted to Team Lead in Customer
Service where she supervised and mentored nine individuals.
Rebecca’s outstanding skill with handling customer situations has
earned her the reputation of “Hot Shot” within the AmeriBen
community. On occasion, Rebecca will actually assist the
Customer
Care department with escalated call volumes and issues.
As a
Client Service Coordinator, Rebecca is able to use her 9 years of
customer service experience on a day- to- day basis. She is the main
contact for her groups of clients and brokers, assists with claims and
benefits questions that may arise, coordinates the implementation
process as well as assists in the renewals process.
In addition
to her responsibilities as a CSC, Rebecca is a member of Toastmasters,
is fluent in Spanish, and is working on completing her degree in
Business Administration. |

Renee Wolf

Renee
began her career with AmeriBen/ IEC Group in 2000 as a Customer Service
Representative, later promoted to Flex Administrator and assisted with
IEC Groups Management Consulting Department.
Renee returned June
2008 as a Client Service Coordinator (CSC) with gained experience in
claims adjusting, provider contracting, and health insurance sales.
Some
primary responsibilities Renee has as a CSC include assisting with
client contacts to resolve claims issues involving a specific client
base. In addition, she foresees and communicates any possible plan
issue or concern to the Account Representative and operations staff.
Renee continues to work towards a dual degree in Business Management
and Marketing. |

Tanya Zieber

As
Senior Account Representative, Tanya is responsible for developing and
maintaining long-term business relationships with client and broker
partners and for guiding daily client activity and account
management. She also serves as a resource for clients and
brokers, assisting them with issue resolutions and workflow
improvements, as well as consulting in areas of plan design, industry
regulations, analyzing market trends and the implementation of new
products and services. With approximately ten years of
Account
Management experience, Tanya is
responsible for
managing the organization’s client base in Arizona. She is
also
responsible for identifying business opportunities based on new and
existing broker relationships.
Tanya began her career in the
operational departments of a Third Party Administrator. She
built
her knowledge base of self funded employee benefit plans by working
within the PPO network, Utilization Management, and Member Services.
She
earned her bachelor’s degree specializing in social behavioral sciences
from Arizona State University at Tempe, AZ. Additionally, she
has
received her Arizona state insurance licensure for life, health, and
disability insurance. |
